Larkswood by election landslide

By election landslide in Larkswood

In the borough's 4th by election since last October, nearly 2000 voters turned out for the poll- triggered by the death of Councillor John Walter late last year.

Following the count held at Rushcroft School, a tired but jubilant Edwin said, "I am delighted at the result.  I'm planning to hit the ground running and doing what I was voted to do: serve the people of Larkswood to the best of my abilities"

The full results are as follows:
Conservatives 1393
Labour: 255
Liberal Democrats: 144
The Green Party 102
