The Council’s Area 2 have considered a report on road safety around Wells Primary and have agreed to consult

residents on proposals to improve road safety as follows:

1.  Introduce a 20mph Zone around school. At entry points to zone lay grey surfacing with "20" roundel marking and "20" mph entry and "30" mph exit signs.
    
2.  Construct new footway in Aldeburgh Place.
    
3.  Lay double yellow line "At any time" waiting restrictions in Knighton Drive and Aldeburgh Place . The double yellow lines have already been laid in Knighton Drive to address parking congestion.
4. 
    Provide additional three parking bays for the school in access road off Barclay Oval outside Wells Primary School.

These proposals are intended to improve road safety around Wells Primary School.
