Stop the speeding on Maybank Road

Stop the speeding

In 2019, residents met with a Local Councillor to raise urgent concerns about dangerous speeding on Maybank Road. Six years on, nothing has been done.

Despite repeated near-misses, damaged cars, and broken wing mirrors, the Labour-run Redbridge Council — and the ward’s Labour and Independent councillors — have ignored residents’ pleas for action. How many more accidents must happen before they listen?

Neighbouring Latchett Road has speed bumps to slow traffic. Why must Maybank Road residents continue to be put at risk?

Share your experiences and sign the petition below to demand that Redbridge Council take action now to make Maybank Road safe.
