We care passionately about our community and are determined to stand up for local people. Between us, we bring experience, energy, and a strong commitment to keeping our area a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
Over recent years, local Conservatives have worked hard across Chingford and Highams Park to deliver for residents, from protecting our green spaces and supporting local shops, to improving roads and investing in community facilities. It has been Conservative councillors who have led the campaign against the removal of the 15 minutes’ free parking that helps support local businesses, and who have fought to stop the closure of Hale End Library – protecting vital community services for local people. Local Conservative Councillors led the creation of the Highams Park Neighbourhood Plan, helping to preserve the character of Highams Park.
This summer Labour threatened to, in some cases, double the rent they charged the shopkeepers in Hatch Lane, a move that would put pressure on small businesses at a time when they are already struggling. We worked with shopkeepers and officers to get them to think again.
But there is always more to do – and that’s where we need your help.
We want to hear what matters most to you and your family. Whether it’s tackling traffic and parking problems, keeping our streets clean and safe, protecting local services, or ensuring investment in Highams Park and Hatch Lane, your views will shape our priorities for the years ahead.
Together, with your support, we can continue delivering for Hatch Lane and Highams Park North and make our community an even better place to live.
