Following NatWest’s decision to close their branch on Station Road, we’ve been working hard to ensure our community still has access to essential banking services.
We’re thrilled to announce that Chingford’s first Banking Hub has now opened at Meridian House, 62 Station Road, Chingford, London, E4 7BA
Proposed Bank Schedule:
• MON: Lloyds
• TUES: Santander (am), HSBC (pm)
• WED: Barclays
• THU: NatWest
• FRI: Halifax
Banking hubs provide face-to-face cash and banking services, operated by the Post Office and accessible to all members of the community, regardless of their bank. The hub will enable residents to:
• Pay in and withdraw cash (notes and coins)
• Deposit cheques
• Check account balances•
Pay utility bills and top up gas/electricity
• Access change-giving services (for registered businesses)
Additionally, community bankers from each participating bank will be available on their designated days to assist with more complex banking enquiries.
We are pleased to see this important service being introduced to our community.
