Last Friday Mayor of London, Boris Johnson and local MP Iain Duncan Smith visited the impressive Soul Project on Wood Street to discuss the Council’s work on ending gang violence. They had the chance to meet many of the community groups the Council works with to achieve this and also talked with former gang members and people affected by gang violence.
During his visit, local group The KNI Foundation put on a demonstration of “Parkour” which the Mayor seemed to be hugely impressed by and even volunteered to be a human hurdle along with IDS!
