REVEALED: SHOCKING COST BEHIND LABOUR’S BID TO KEEP PRINTING ILLEGAL NEWSPAPER

Our Labour Council has been, illegally, printing and delivering Waltham Forest News every fortnight for over five years.

After being told to stop by the Secretary of State, our Council spent £27,000 appealing that decision. They lost that appeal.

They are now planning to throw away more of your money by attempting to have the judge's decision over-turned. This will cost at least a further £15,000 to appeal. If the council lose the appeal they’ll also pay all the Government’s legal fees. Costs are being shared with Labour run Hackney council, who are also challenging.

Waltham Forest Labour has continually ignored warnings to stop printing the costly paper and hasn’t hesitated to make this expensive legal challenge against what is a fairly cut and dried Regulation.

All the while they refuse to fund a lollipop man at King’s Road for less than £10,000.
