JOIN THE CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE HIGHAMS COURT APPLICATION

A planning application has been lodged for blocks rising to six stories with no onsite parking at Highams Court, at the junction of Larkshall Road and Friars Close.

SIGN OUR PETITION BELOW TO SAY NO TO THIS PROPOSAL.

The proposed development would have 46 flats in blocks up to six storeys high, but just two disabled parking spaces. The largest block would be very close to the edge of the roundabout, totally dominating an area with almost exclusively two storey houses, set well back from the main road frontages.

The developer is proposing that 100% of the homes would be “affordable”. We have set out some suggested grounds for objection on the reverse of this letter.

We would also encourage you to object formally to the application, you can do so via the Council website at this link: https://bit.ly/HighamsCourt. If you have any difficulty with this please email your local councillors quoting ref:220739 Highams Court who will ensure your comments are logged. Find their contact details here. Please see the attached PDF below for a list of reasons that you may find helpful in making objections.
